Gail is an author and traveler who lives in Portland, Oregon with her wife and Whoodle, Alfie. She grew up in the Chicago area, and she attended college in Tucson, Arizona where she studied creative writing, journalism, and cultural anthropology. It was there that she discovered her passion for writing and diverse cultures. With an insatiable thirst for travel, she has set foot on six continents, and she has gathered a host of friends from around the world. These experiences and relationships have informed her tales for young readers.
